Ernie's experience spans over 35 years in all aspects of real estate. As a licensed real estate broker, and member of ICSC, he leads the Commercial Development, Investment Brokerage, and Property Management Divisions. He presently serves on the board of Shelburne Farms, Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation, Cynosure, Chaired the Governor's Panel on Climate Change, Federal Reserve Bank New England Advisory board, East coast ICSC Government affairs, is the Honorary Consul of France to Vermont, and is engaged in multiple other community functions.
Brian provides trusted management of Pomerleau Real Estate’s operations. Grounded in his retail and real estate experience, Brian’s financial expertise and business insights strengthen Pomerleau Real Estate’s Development, Brokerage and Property Management Divisions. His community engagement reflects the Pomerleau spirt. Brian serves on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Burlington, the Vermont Electric Power Producers, Inc (VEPP), Hunger Free Vermont and on the Vermont Council on World Affairs. Previously, Brian served on the Fletcher Allen Hospital Development Board and the Shelburne Craft School. Last but not least, he's rumored to have the best golf swing of the team!
Yves has been involved in sales and leasing for fifteen years and currently oversees the day to day operations of the commercial brokerage department. He is well-versed in all aspects of brokerage, including office and industrial leasing, the ownership and acquisition of investment property, as well as in the field retail brokerage, due to his background as a business owner and franchisee. He has been an active member of the business community for the last 28 years, and is currently on the board of HOPE Works, the Burlington planning Commission, and the Chittenden Commercial Real Estate Association. Yves takes great pleasure in his personal interaction with clients and strongly believes in the value of a lasting business relationship.
Kristin is the driving force behind Pomerleau Real Estate’s Commercial Team as the Commercial Sales and Leasing Coordinator. Kristin's 20 plus years of experience in the field of real estate, organizational skills, network, and positive energy make her the perfect complement to our Commercial Brokerage Team. Every team needs someone who will truly make sure that all of the detail work that can be so often overlooked gets done in a professional and thorough manner, and Kristin brings significant business background and professional strength to her position.
Brad Worthen is a native Vermonter with roots extending back four generations. He has an extensive and diverse business background that provides the firm and its clients with a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise. Brad's resume includes an extensive management career in commercial broadcasting. He also owned and operated staffing services in Burlington VT, Portland ME, and Providence RI. and has legislative lobbying and transportation consulting experience. Brad served as the Director of Marketing for Vermont’s largest commercial and industrial developer and is also a successful residential developer. Brad currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and is Vice Chairman of the Vermont Rail Action Network. He is a past board member of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and the King Street Youth Center. Brad also served as president of the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont Associates Board, the Kiwanis Club of Chittenden County, the Vermont Ad Club and the Quality Council of Greater Burlington. Brad is an accomplished private pilot flying for over 35 years.
Stuart K. Wichert (Kim) brings the personal qualifications and skill gained in his nearly four decades of employment with leading corporations including sales and management positions with Xerox Corp. and as the President of a subsidiary of International Data Corp., a multinational publishing company devoted to the information technology industry. Experienced with both sides of Business Brokerage, Kim has bought, developed and successfully sold two small businesses of his own.
Active in community affairs, Kim has served on the board of Burr & Burton Academy, and The Green Mountain Academy for Life Long Learning. He was formally Chair of the Board of Greater Boston Rehabilitation Service and is a past-trustee of the First Congregational Church in Burlington Vermont.
Kim was educated at Vermont Academy, Saxton’s River Vermont and The George Washington University, Washington DC. Kim served in the United States Marine Corps.
Michael joined Pomerleau Real Estate in January of 2018 and is the newest addition to the brokerage team. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 2010, Michael moved to South Florida and began working at Marcus & Millichap, one the nation’s leading commercial real estate brokerages. During his time at Marcus & Millichap, he was responsible for the disposition of approximately 65 properties totaling over $200 million.
Michael is licensed in Vermont, Maryland, and Florida and has closed transactions in 22 different states in the eastern half of the US. His experience in the leasing, development, and disposition of single-tenant retail properties across the nation lends itself well to advising clients on the best avenues to both grow and preserve wealth. Specifically, he enjoys developing investment strategies that maximize cashflow and principal paydown over the hold period. He is also highly experienced in completing 1031 exchanges and has developed specific strategies to assist in facilitating the successful completion of a exchange. We are confident that the skills Michael has developed will be an asset to his clients as well as the local community.
Steve has been with Pomerleau Real Estate for over 30 years starting in the mid 1980’s! Moving up the chain, bringing up his family and a 20-year stint in the VT national guards, shows his commitment to everything he does. Steve brings this commitment and experience to the jobs and tasks assigned to him and ensures that our projects are on schedule and completed with excellence.
Chris has been putting his all into Pomerleau since 1989! Currently, he oversees the daily maintenance for all the Pomerleau managed properties including the landscaping, parking lot upkeep, building repairs and more. He does so with a great spirit, laid back style and excellent attention to detail. He is as good of a man in his community as he is at work, serving as a volunteer firefighter for the last 34 years, three of which he has been honored as Firefighter of the Year in Richmond. His guidance, experience and quality crew are just some of the reasons why our Property Management division is considered to be the best in Vermont!
Ron joined the property management division in November, 2005 He is responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of all Pomerleau buildings and Pomerleau managed properties. From snow removal to building and repairing everything and anything, Ron does it all.
Since coming to Pomerleau Real Estate 14 years ago Dan has found his place on the “greens” – as head of the landscape crew during the summer months! Dan has a great eye and is the one to thank when you see our shopping center grounds looking so manicured and colorful. He works all facets of work on the property management team at other times of the year ~ always with a smile and great attitude.
Jim joined the team in July, 2008. He is responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of all Pomerleau buildings and Pomerleau managed properties. From snow removal to general maintenance and more. Jim is a great addition to the team.
Tim joined Pomerleau Real Estate in mid-2014 bringing over 25 years of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and concrete experience to the position. He is a great member of the team and is always willing to pitch in and assist anywhere. In his spare time Tim enjoys skiing, camping and hiking with his son.
Matt joined Pomerleau Real Estate after High School graduation in 2014, graduating as a member of the National Technical Honor Society! He adds a youthful flair to the team and brings with him a great deal of hands-on experience from working in his shop at his home. Matt is an avid hunter and can be found in the woods when not on call.
Erika joined Pomerleau’s Accounting Division in 2012 to support our Financial Manager and has since moved into the role of Accounting Operations Manager. She oversees the day to day functions of the department, including Accounts Payable/Receivable and Financial Reporting. Erika is a native Vermonter whose previous nonprofit and accounting experience, love for her community, and upbeat “can-do” attitude made for a seamless transition.
Caroline is a native of Vermont who had been a stay-at-home mom for many years. She began working at Pomerleau in 2007 and has held several positions in the accounting department, now focusing on accounts receivables. Her kind and pleasant disposition have been an asset to our Pomerleau family.
Alex moved to Vermont in 2005 and soon fell in love with the beauty and culture; especially with Burlington! She has an array of experience from Operations Management to Accounts Payable Supervisor and joined the Pomerleau team in June 2018. Alex’s love for numbers along with her diligent and pro-active approach, make her a great addition to the team.
Susan is a home grown Vermonter with a varied professional background. She came to Pomerleau with over 15 years of accounting experience. After 4 years as an accountant and residential property manager, she now leads Pomerleau’s Third Party Property Management division. Susan loves people, and people love Susan! In addition to her head for numbers and business, she also brings exceptional communication and people skills.
Madeline joined Pomerleau in September 2017 and takes on roles in both Property Management and Marketing departments. Madeline’s background in fashion buying, merchandising, and marketing helps her to bring a new, creative energy to the marketing & brokerage teams and is what makes her such a strong and innovative problem solver when it comes to managing residential and commercial properties. Madeline is a skilled communicator and her ability to collaborate with several different departments makes her a valuable addition to the company.
Carrie joined the Pomerleau Team in 2008. She wears several hats including Human Resources, Lease administration and most importantly keeping our principals informed and aware of what’s on the horizon. Her problem solving, organizational and project management skills are utilized across departments and her “can do” attitude along with her infectious laugh make it a pleasure to work with her. Carrie loves to bike, workout and willingly “donates” her time participating in charity events that Pomerleau Real Estate sponsors, such as Curling and Rappelling off hotel rooftops.
Debra has more than 17 years’ experience in selling, processing and managing residential and commercial loan portfolios. She demonstrates the ability to develope and maintain strong client relations and has a credited extensive referral network. Debra has a diverse background, including previous work in the legal environment. She joined the Pomerleau team in May 2018 and welcomes all visitors, whether in person or on the phone and provides admin support for the entire company.
Drama joined the team in the fall of 2017 as the company’s first Greeter / Security Officer. He can usually be found snoozing by the reception desk or hunting down treats strategically hidden around the accounting department. He takes his job very seriously but can be easily bribed with dog bones and peanut butter. He enjoys long walks along the waterfront and having his head scratched by anyone who comes through the office door. Drama keeps spirits high with his unwavering positivity and calm demeanor, making him an invaluable part of the team!
